A very few companies have risen to prominence at the pace at which LeEco has and is still steadily climbing to greater heights. The latest offering from LeEco, the Le Max 2 is another such product that will aid this tremendous growth. There aren’t a lot of phones out there whose performance can rip a hole in space and time without ripping a hole in your pocket and this one fits the bill quite perfectly.

Although not the biggest among it’s siblings it packs some serious firepower to overwhelm its rivals in the same price bracket as well as even higher priced models. It’s an impressive device not just on paper with an all metal body and a staggering 5.7” Quad HD display, a powerful Snapdragon 820 chip set with either 4 or 6 gigs of RAM, a custom eUI launcher on a marshmallow core and the crème la crème, the 21 MP camera which is capable of some stunning shots.
And this isn’t even the extent of all of it’s features! It also offers a fingerprint scanner at the back which is extremely fast, a 3100 mAh battery to provide adequate juice to last through the day paired off with 32 or 64GB of internal space with no room for expansion.

Such a feature packed phone at mouth watering prices makes it an unbelievable deal. There’s something for everyone here be it for those who love your games, office related work, casual use or even to take some magnificent shots and videos.

However, the one standout feature of this phone is the 21 MP Sony Exmor RS IMX230 camera sensor with a dual tone LED flash, phase detection AF, optical image stabilization, 2160p video recording at 30FPS and an 8MP front acing camera with 1080p at 30FPS video recording. It indeed does perform extremely well in natural lighting and even in low lighting conditions and you’re never left desiring something more from your camera.

Food photography has become a trend which is dominating the internet today. The low lit ambience of the restaurant isn’t very supportive of excellent photography. To truly bring your food to life on the plate and making the entire world drool at the click of a button, a camera that can deliver on all fronts is needed which can capture every miniscule detail breathing life into the pictures.

All said and done, there are some shortcomings, although to be honest, one in particular. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack could be a big turn off for many people. A non removable battery isn’t much of an issue however the 3100mAh battery will be tested on this powerful device. Fret not; it comes with a quick charge 3.0 charger to juice up the device really quickly.

It’s a device truly worth considering given the price, the features and the stellar performance of it’s cameras.
