Hotel Prestige has been in the spotlight lately due to their Kuttunadu Festival which served great authentic Kuttundau food. Foodies loved it as it helped to explore a cuisine that was unheard of in Mangalore.
This time around they came up with Aati – Monsoon Food Festival! Monsoon is the time where we all like to gather around as a family and enjoy our meals with the sound of pouring rain. Simbly South gathered some authentic local delights for us to try this monsoon.
The Agoli Manjanna Vanas is something definitely worth mention. It’s a one of a kind thali that sums up all the monsoon delicacies that were lost over time.
It consist of Kanile Soup (Bamboo shoot soup), Thimare Chutney (Brahmi leaf chutney), Thojank Pelathari (Jack Fruit seed preparation), Pathrode (Colocasia leaf dish), Kori Ressa (Chicken Gray), Bangude Pulimunchi (Mackarel curry), Kadale Paysa (Chickpea dessert), Manni ( rice based dessert). And that’s not all, they even have a lot more number of dishes. 25+ dishes to say the least!
Love anything in particular? You can also order an entire portion from the Aati menu separately. What more could one ask for?
