ITC Gardenia never ceases to amaze and is also very charming in it’s own unique way, all thanks to the plush greenery and vertical gardens!

This time around, Cubbon Pavillion at the ITC Gardenia hosted the Land of 5 Rivers festival which boasts all about an exotic Punjabi fare that we bet you have never tried before! Let’s simplify things for you and tell you the top 5 must-try dishes at this fest!

1. Qazleela Talli:

The mother of all starters has finally arrived. Fillets of Sol fish, delicately stuffed with raw mango chutney and batter fried! This one melts in your mouth and before you know it, your plate will be empty!

2. Bharwan Karela Aloo:

Karela is synonymous with hate! but, this karela stuffed with prunes will instantly put you into and existential crisis and give you a new found love for Karela (bitter gourd), the seasoned potatoes are lovely too.

3. Dogra Dal:

This Dal will put all the other Dals you have ever tried to shame! No more words, try it to believe it, period!

4. Murghabi Pistadar:

The most tender mutton you might have probably eaten. The twist here is that it is braised in honey. Definitely a dish for the spice haters!

5. Bataor Pulav:

A pulav made with Quail? Hallelujah! This match made in heaven will definitely give you new pulav goals! Well flavored rice meets one of the tastiest bird!

6. Gajar Halwa:

What’s unique you may ask? The answer is Winter Carrots! For those of you who don’t know, there are orange carrots we get every day, then there are very sweet red carrots that are perfect for Gajar Halwa, this dessert is made from that!

*Wipes drool away from face*, runs to Cubbon Pavillion!

The fest is on till the 25th February, eat it like it’s HOT!
