Sigree Global Grill is already known for its wide variety of food offerings  – the delicious hot yummy grills, the HUGE buffet with ample choice in salads, main course and dessert sections.  Now, when we tell you they are having a Street Food Festival, the choices are bound to be plentiful and delightful.

The wait staff is dressed in Street style clothes, really giving you the feel of what you are eating.  They even have a guy walking around serving you “Chana Chor Garam Chaat”, which apart from being delicious, is a treat to watch him mix it up and make it.

While their regular fare of barbecued / grilled food do not disappoint, here we were more into enjoying the variety of Chaat and other Street Food they had to offer.  The usual suspects made their way to our table – Nachos Bhel, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Papdi Chaat, Samosa Chaat. All very well made. The Dahi Puri stood out with a nice spicy tinge at the end of the bite!

Amritsari Fish Fingers

The innovative ones where the Spicy Corn Chaat, Amritsari fish fingers and Prawns Popcorn.  While a little more tangy seasoning could have elevated the dishes, they were still finger lickin’ good.  The Spicy Lamb Tikki – well mixed with Indian Spices. Anda Paratha and Three Pepper Pizza were instant favourites.

On the main course side too, they had a very good selection of items that qualify as “Street Food”.  The stuffed Kulchas (Aloo & Paneer) with Chole, Ragda Patties, Dilli Style Butter Chicken, Dal Sigree and of course the all time favourite – Paav Bhaaji.  For the carnivores, they also had Kheema Paav. Not too spicy, but the dishes were flavourful.

They had their usual wide array of choice in dessert section, but the favourite that day was the Mango Pudding.  The Pudding itself had a brilliant Panna Cotta like consistency and the sauce was exquisite to say the least. With the right hint of mint, it was a delicious treat!

They also have a menu of interesting Mocktails & Cocktails which we sampled during our meal.  But, when you have such lovely Indian Food, ek Masala Chai toh banta hai. They offered excellent hot masala chai, a perfect end to the meal.
